Japan x UK Group Show featuring Kyoto Seika University Faculty

Professor Toshihiro Komatsu, a faculty member in Kyoto Seika University’s Department of Fine Art, will be participating in a group exhibition held at The Michael Pennie Gallery at Bath Spa University in England.

Entitled Clouds of Abstract Information – Winds from the West Winds from the East, this exhibition features artists from both Japan and the UK, specifically those with ties to Bath Spa University and Contemporary Art and Spirits (CAS), a nonprofit contemporary art space in Osaka.

Bath Spa University is located in the historic city of Bath, and places particular emphasis on the arts and humanities in its curricula. The Bath School of Art was founded in 1852 and renamed as Bath Spa University in 2005. The university boasts some of the best educational technology in the UK and has produced a diverse range of artists.

The exhibition will run from Friday, September 19 to Sunday, October 5, 2025, with an opening reception scheduled for Thursday, September 18 at 6:30pm.
