ADMISSIONS

To reduce the burden of paying tuition fees, Kyoto Seika University has introduced a tuition fee payment system that divides fees into four installments per year.

Admission Procedures

Admission procedures refer to the payment of fees at the time of enrollment. Initial fees include the admission fee, first quarter/term tuition fees (equivalent to one-quarter of annual tuition fees), and other related fees.
The deadline for the completion of admission procedures will differ depending on the type of application for which the student has been accepted. If payment is not made by the relevant deadline, the student will not be able to enroll.

*If a student withdraws their application after completing the admission procedures, they will receive a refund for first quarter/term tuition fees and any other related fees. The admission fee is non-refundable. For details on withdrawing an application, please check the admission guidelines or the information enclosed with the notification of acceptance.

If you encounter financial circumstances that make it difficult for you to pay your tuition fees, please talk to your closest faculty or staff member or contact the Student Support Team as soon as possible.

Tuition Fee Deferment System

You may defer a tuition fee payment by submitting an application form in advance. Refer to the table below for deferment dates for each quarter/semester. Deferred tuition fee payments cannot be made through automatic withdrawal from your bank account. If your request to defer payment is approved, you will receive a letter of authorization and a bank transfer form from the university.

Tuition deferment request forms are available from the Accounting Team counter located on the 4th floor of the Main Building. Forms can also be downloaded from the university's dedicated portal site, Seika Portal.

Deregistration for Non-payment of Tuition Fees

If you do not pay the amount of tuition fees by the end of each payment period, you will be deregistered from Kyoto Seika University. Reference dates used to determine whether enrollment will be canceled are listed in the table below.

・If the last day of a payment period falls on a bank holiday, fees must be paid by the following business day.
・Once you have been deregistered, you cannot re-register, even if an amount equivalent to the tuition fees is subsequently paid to the University.
・Formal requests to re-enroll can be made up to two years after deregistration.
