Kyoto Inspiration 2026: Thank you!

A Pursuit of Past and Present in the Thousand-Year Capital

Kyoto Inspiration 2026

Sharing a moment of quiet reflection at the Hojo Garden in Nanzenji temple

Last month, Kyoto Seika University welcomed the latest group of Kyoto Inspiration participants to campus. Over the course of approximately ten days, this diverse group of students and creative professionals gained a multifaceted understanding of Kyoto and Japanese culture through a variety of activities, including a walking tour of the city, a lecture about Japanese contemporary art, and a hands-on introduction to the subtleties of Japanese tea.

Kyoto Seika University’s goal for this program has always been to provide participants with a broad range of Japanese cultural experience that would normally be inaccessible to the average visitor. We were delighted to share this special time with a group of thoughtful, engaged participants, and hope that the experiences they gained here in Kyoto will serve them well in their professional and creative pursuits.
