Application 2022

Our application deadline will be April 15, 2022. Priority will be given to early applicants. Email us to ask directly about anything not covered by these webpages!

Program Period:

July 2 (check-in July 1) to July 15 (checkout July 16, optional extension to 18th, with additional accommodation fee)

Program Fee:

140,000 yen
 
This fee includes dorm accommodation, Kyoto field trip transportation and admissions, and welcome and farewell parties; it does not include other meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner most days), personal expenses, visa fee (if required), transportation and admissions on free days, or international travel expenses/transportation from/to airport.
Parcipants will also be responsible for personal health insurance cover while in Japan.

Application Process

1) Download the application form
2) Fill out and send to KSU as an email attachment by April 15
3) Screening
4) Initial Confirmation of Participation by email:April 30
5) Payment Deadline*; Final Confirmation of Participation:May 15

*Payment will be accepted by an online system; full payment must be received by midnight of May 15, or the application will be cancelled.

Cancellation Policy

After payment of program fee, the following
conditions will apply to cancellations (must be received in writing):
 
Cancellation until May 31:50% refund (minus back transfer fee)
Cancellation between June 1 and June 15:20% refund
Cancellation on or after June 16:0% refund

Bank handling cost of refund will be born by the applicant.
There may be some delay due to arrangement of bank transfer.
