Student Dorms

Accommodation is provided at SEIKA's International Student Houses for our first-year international students, exchange students, and incoming visiting groups. (Due to space limitations, research students can't stay in the dorms, but are assisted on arrival to find other suitable accommodation).

Shukokan

The Shukokan international House opened in April 2017, and accommodates first-year international students and some exchange students. Its 35 twin rooms are shared with Japanese students (first-year undergrads) to promote cultural exchange and language learning. Furnishings are by Ikea, and free WiFi is provided throughout the buildings.

The kitchen, multi-purpose dining area and other shared facilities are clean, modern and spacious. Residents are welcome to cook for themselves using the kitchen facilities.

Dorm rent is ¥160,000 (including utilities charges) per semester (up to 6 months stay). The rental charge for a futon bedding set is 10,800 yen per semester (16,400 per year).

Kino-ryo

A renovated and spacious dorm for international students, located very close by SEIKA's campus in Kino-cho, Iwakura. It has 52 single rooms, with meal plan (breakfast, dinner) Monday to Friday. Rent (6-tatami) 25,000 yen per month; 8-tatami, 30,000 yen per month; common service fee 8,000 yen per month; meal plan: 25,000 yen per month; Internet fee (wireless): 3,000 yen per month. Two-year lease contract.

Doho-kan

Incoming short-term student groups stay on campus at the Doho-kan, which has accommodation for up to 18 people, with shared kitchen facilities, showers, and laundry facilities (washers & dryers).

e-Box

Incoming short-term student groups stay on campus at the e-Box, which has accommodation for up to 10 people, with shared kitchen facilities, showers, and laundry facilities.
