Accommodation is provided at SEIKA's International Student Houses for our first-year ryugakusei, exchange students, and incoming exchange groups. (Due to space limitations, research students can't stay in the dorms, but are assisted on arrival to find other suitable accommodation).

International men's dorm, "geshuku"-style, in Iwakura, east of SEIKA. Two buildings, near shops, 10 minutes by bicycle to SEIKA.

Incoming short-term student groups stay on campus at the Doho-kan, which has accommodation for up to 18 people, with shared kitchen facilities, showers, and laundry facilities (washers & dryers).

Kino-ryo and Fujimura-so provide economical simply-furnished rooms with shared kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Rooms are single-occupancy only. They cannot be shared or sub-let. Room charges vary according to size, and are quite economical compared to other available accommodation:

※ For all rooms there is an additional once-only charge per semester for rental futon set: 10,500 yen (to be paid on arrival).
※ The full semester's rent must be paid within the first week after arrival, or within one month at the latest. Rent is not pro-rated in the case of a shorter stay in the last month of residence.
※ Students are fully responsible for their own cleaning, cooking, and laundry.
※ Internet is available in each room (100Mbps Ethernet cable service), free of charge. Seika also has wireless access in some parts of campus (password required).
Rent for a room at a local geshuku, (student dorm) would be around 20-25,000 yen per month (with extra charges for utilities, but probably no Internet access).
A small apartment with mini-kitchen and bath could cost from from 40,000 to 50,000 yen per month, usually with an expensive non-refundable "key money" payment.
The cheapest furnished room accommodation ("monthly mansion" with private kitchen & shower) that we know of here is 49,000 yen per month.
