Overseas Programs

Many of our students choose to enrol at KSU because of the opportunities offered for meaningful overseas experience. Our exceptionally high ratio of students from overseas counties provides a constant reminder on campus of KSU's international outlook, and even our overseas students join KSU's international programs.

Faculty of Humanities

In the Faculty of Humanities, Fieldwork promotes first-hand understanding of social issues within Japan and overseas.

We have various short-term (3 weeks to a month) Short Overseas Language Programs, and short Short Overseas Cultural Programs.

On-Campus Exhibition featuring Summer 2005 Programs: (Ireland, Korea, France, Germany, Costa Rica, Singapore, Mali, East Timor, and Malawi. Other short programs were offered in Japan, including Okinawa and Hokkaido).

Opportunities for full-semester individual study overseas are made available through an expanding network of exchange agreements (see sidebar).

Faculties of Art, Design, and Manga

INDIVIDUAL EXCHANGE: We also have full-semester student exchange agreements with various highly-ranked institutions around the world (see sidebar).

These connections allow our students to have very positive in-depth experience of other cultures, and to develop personally as more experienced artists. The reciprocal nature of such exchanges also brings many interesting individuals to Seika, thereby benefitting the various studios and contributing to our students' international awareness.
