your

Accommodation: If possible, the best way to arrange accommodation is to take
over a GSA exchange student's room while they are away. Most third-year
students live in shared flats (apartments) where rent is from
about £280
- £300 per month (plus extra for utilities). ECA assists
exchange students in finding accommodation wherever possible.
ECA organises a mailing scheme to which students can add their
names if looking for private accommodation. This list, including
contact e-mail addresses and telephone numbers, will be circulated
regularly to everyone on the list from mid July - September to
enable students to group together in order to look for
flats.
See advertisements for rooms available at http://eportal.eca.ac.uk.
(If you wish to join this scheme please complete and return the Accommodation
Mailing Scheme form and return it to Student Services)".
"Many of our students rent privately and there are a number
of letting agents in Edinburgh - these are best researched through
the internet. You can find a comprehensive list of companies
on the website www.yell.co.uk
Some of our students find the website www.studentpad.com very
useful when searching for accommodation.
UPDATE: ECA has arranged a connection
with Grant
Management Flatshare
