and Asian Cultures Course

Focusing
on Japan’s ancient capital of Kyoto, this course provides an
understanding of Japanese history and traditional culture through fieldwork.
It examines the historical evolution of different Japanese regions
such as Hokkaido and Okinawa, providing a rediscovery of Japanese culture.
The coursework also covers the history, religions and societies of
other countries with strong ties to Japan.

the functions of the conventional college library, and has
