Observing society, a comprehensive approach to
art
To develop deeper roots and achieve a wider ability of expression
it may be necessary to look more closely at the society we
are part of. Therefore Seika’s
Oil Painting course emphasizes the importance of looking closely at other students’ work
and joining in wide-ranging discussion.
By approaching art from a comprehensive point of view, students learn not only
to paint but to have a perspective on greater dimensions of their world. This
kind of thinking is promoted through the challenge of a rich and comprehensive
curriculum providing exposure to all kinds of expression from oil painting
to performance art.
